Become a Project Leader
We are looking for project leaders who will run one design team throughout the 2018-2019 year. You will have the opportunity to work with a physician and lead a team of 4-5 other students to identify a problem, design a solution, and create a prototype. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real experience in medical innovation and entrepreneurship.

Team members will participate on multidisciplinary teams consisting of engineering, medical, law, and business students. You will gain experience in medical innovation and entrepreneurship while working on designing solutions for real clinical problems. Potential projects range from medical device design to improving patient-focused care. We are excited to hear about where you are most interested in making an impact.

SUBMIT A PROBLEM

The Los Angeles branch of Sling Health will help students, faculty, staff, and entrepreneurs from across UCLA team up to tackle unmet needs in healthcare delivery and clinical medicine. Selected students will work in small teams to understand a medical problem and develop a solution throughout the academic year. We are looking for you to submit "problems" focusing on any unmet clinical needs you see or challenges you face in the medical field. Some examples include procedures that may be improved by a medical device or software or challenges in patient experience and quality improvement. We will be in contact with you throughout the idea selection process.
